I pick #4 ~ Chile Lime Coleslaw, zucchini fries would be my second choice.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely #1! That sounds fantastic - Weiner Schnitzel. I'm German and I've never made it! (Are pork cutlets the same as thin small pork chops?)
ReplyDeleteBJ, they can be! If using thin pork chops, you will treat them the same way I treated the pork tenderloin medallions in the recipe, in order to make them thinner. But keep them on the bone cuz the presentation would be AWESOME!!!
DeleteI am going with the same picks ironically as Ditch the Wheat. It's summer after all, and those sound like perfect picnic foods.
ReplyDeleteOk sorry to be late for the party! Ended up being such a gorgeous day, we spent it out and about with our friends. I had cabin fever so bad, it was either that or risk pulling a Shining on Denny and the 'Boys' and they got askeered. Fraidy cats!
ReplyDeleteSo here's the score between the Facebook Page and Here:
1. Wiener Schnitzel (4 Votes)
2. Cleaning/Butchering Pork Tenderloin (0 Votes)
3. Pork Tenderloin with Rosemary (0 Votes)
4. Chile Lime Coleslaw (3 Votes)
5. Oven Fried Zucchini (2 Votes)
6. Roasted Grape Tomatoes (0 Votes)
Ok, it was a nail biter (haha)! But the Wiener Schnitzel edged out the coleslaw by a narrow margin!
So I will do the WS today and then follow up with the Chile Lime Coleslaw cuz it's such a versatile recipe and will go great for Memorial Day! I will have to hurry to get the Memorial Day posts out. I can't believe it's next week! GeezeLouise!
LOL Too funny! Good idea. :)
ReplyDeleteYou should still post the Chile Lime Coleslaw recipe sometime! pretty please!
ReplyDeleteHa! I'm working on that tonight. I hope to have it posted tomorrow! :) Just in time for Memorial Day Grill Outs! Use my Revolutionary Hot Dog Buns (and Hamburger Buns) and you will have an incredibly delicious meal!
