Coming to Fluffy Chix Cook for December

Christmas pre-cancer in the Fluffy House
Thought I would whet your appetites for more Fluffy Chix Cook through the month of December. I shoulda done this during November, but yeah, it's always a case of "day late, dollar short" and a little thing like plumbing leaks, replumbing the entire house and recovering from breast cancer reconstruction surgery caused delays. But hayull, those are just excuses and alibis.
I hope to have these threads up for you during the Holiday Season (Screw that terminology, lemme rephrase...) I hope to have these recipes up for you some time between now and when the Wise Men arrive with the gifts...(Epiphany on Jan 6) - so Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Happy Hanukkah! Leave a note and let me know what you think of this working schedule. It may be overly ambitious, so I reserve the right to fall short on my promises! :)

Clark and Eddy and Mamas last Christmas, just after
her lung cancer diagnosis - enjoying low carb egg nog.
1. Low Carb Egg Nog

Carpaccio with a Mixed Greens Salad

Carpaccio a low carb, easy and elegant
Christmas Eve light meal or appetizer
2. Low Carb Appetizer of some kind (maybe carpaccio or salmon or caviar roll and low carb crackers)

Herb crusted Standing Rib Roast only $3.98/lb on sale

I'd put the Fluffy Chix Cook Standing Rib up against any
restaurant prime rib, anyday
3. Herb crusted Standing Rib Roast

No picture of this...
I haven't made it up yet,
but I have a very good
working plan!
4. Low Carb Pumpkin Roulade (Roll)

Jimmy Buffet, our boy singer said it best,
"Boat Drinks"...
5. Low Carb Holiday Cocktails

Chili Red - the traditional Texas,
Christmas evening dinner (just add low carb tamales)...

If your pot of chili red doesn't look like it's been to hell 'n'
back by the time you're done cookin' - you ain't cooked
it long enough, son!
6. Chili Red

No picture of these either...
I haven't made em up yet,
but I have a very good
working plan!

    1. Thanks! I hope you like it. It's a cooked one, since I still don't mess too much with raw eggs or raw seafood yet. :)

  2. You just do what you are inspired to do - and don't use up ALL your energies for us here! After all, you do need to save some energy to complete your healing process. (I bet you never heard that before, right? LOL)

Love your posts and look forward to them. No pressure though.

    1. BJ, thanks so much! Ha. Healing/schmealing... ;) Right? But seriously, I was doing 2 posts per week and I know that I can't pull that one off anymore.

I'm so glad you enjoy the blog!

      Hugs.

  4. That sounds like a very ambitious undertaking for anyone!!

All you do is so appreciated (and anticipated), just be sure to take the "bestest" care of yourself through everything, plus enjoy your holidays to the max!

    Best of everything,
    Alice

    1. Thanks Alice! Hey, did you end up using the cornbread of making the dressing? I'm almost afraid to ask how it turned out!

    2. Yes, tonight, I made the cornbread and I emailed you about it just now!! Kinda wrote a book so too long for the comment box, most likely!

I feel like I got to eat cornbread tonight without cheating! WooHoo!!!

      Thank you!!!

  5. Hey Girlfriend! Just do the holiday cocktails first, and if you don't get around to all the other recipes you have planned no one will be upset! But I gotta say your plan looks delicious. Can't wait.
